2025 Conference COVID-19 Health Guidelines
By attending the conference, all participants, exhibitors, staff, and vendors agree to comply with the requirements of the policy as outlined below. This policy may be updated from time to time with new information and procedures at ANCC’s sole discretion. Furthermore, ANCC may update this policy at any time in advance of or during the 2025 conference.
VACCINATION & TESTING REQUIREMENT
ANCC recommends 2025 participants, exhibitors, staff, and vendors be up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters.
MASK & SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIREMENTS
ANCC will follow the guidelines provided by the city of Atlanta, GA pertaining to masking and social distancing. As of April 2025 face masks are not required; as such, wearing masks and social distancing during the 2025 conference will be optional.
2025 CONFERENCE REQUIREMENTS
Stay home if you feel unwell or were recently exposed to COVID-19, develop symptoms, or test positive within five (5) days prior to the event.
ON-SITE REQUIREMENTS
Participants, exhibitors, staff, and vendors experiencing potential symptoms of COVID-19 during the 2025 conference should remain in their hotel room, get tested, and seek immediate medical care. Negative COVID-19 test results will be required in order to return to meetings and related events. ANCC does not provide financial assistance for medical treatment should participants, staff, or vendors develop COVID-19 symptoms or test positive while attending the 2025 conference. - I understand and acknowledge that COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can spread through person-to-person contact and can lead to severe illness and/or death.
- I understand and acknowledge there is a risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public setting where people are present.
- I understand and acknowledge that in order to minimize the risk of COVID-19 exposure, all registered attendees and exhibitors at the 2025 National Magnet Conference and the 2025 Pathway to Excellence Conference (together, “Conferences”) are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated and to wear a mask while attending the Conferences, including any Conferences-related activities.
- I understand and acknowledge that Georgia World Congress Center staff, ANA and ANCC staff, conference vendors and exhibitors, speakers, attendees, and others that are working or attending the event might not be vaccinated, hence there is a risk of possible exposure to COVID-19.
- By attending the Conferences, I voluntarily assume the risk of COVID-19 exposure or infection, and any illness, injury, disability, or death resulting therefrom, as a result of my participation in the Conferences.
