HOUSING SCAMS
Reservations made through any agency other than Connections Housing are at your own risk. Be aware of nonofficial housing companies that contact exhibitors and attendees claiming to be able to secure hotel rooms at a better rate. These “poachers” are not authorized to represent ANCC. Previous attendees reported that after paying these companies, no rooms were reserved, and they lost their money. If you are being contacted by any other company claiming they are the official housing service for this event, please contact sales@ana.org and include “Housing Scam” in the subject line.
For any questions regarding housing request, please contact Connections Housing directly at ancchousing@connectionshousing.com.

Transportation Information
To and From the New Orleans Airports
Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is an award-winning airport that serves 5 to 15 million passengers per year. It’s the first stop on your visit to New Orleans, a warm welcome to a city like none other. The New Orleans Airport (MSY) provides a glimpse into the culture of the city due to the large number of local businesses, including restaurants and shops, inside the main terminal.
Bus Services
Service to Downtown New Orleans from the airport is available via the Jefferson Transit Authority (JET) and the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA). Bus service is available from Level 1 Baggage Claim outside Door 2, Zones B4 and B5.
Hop the RTA’s 202 Airport Express, which travels from the airport terminals to Elk Place at Canal Street in downtown New Orleans. The fare is $1.50 and the bus makes 9 daily trips to New Orleans. For more information, you can visit the New Orleans RTA website here.
Taxis Services
Taxis pick up passengers in a dedicated taxi loading zone on the Arrivals Curb outside of Level 1 Baggage Claim Door 7.
Taxi rides cost $36.00 from the airport to the Central Business District (CBD) or French Quarter (west of Elysian Fields) for up to two (2) passengers. For three (3) or more passengers, the fare will be $15.00 per passenger. Taxis are required to accept credit card payments.

Ground Transportation in New Orleans
New Orleans’s streetcar lines have been a staple of public transportation in the city for centuries – more specifically, the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line began toting passengers in 1835, making it the world’s oldest continually operating streetcar line. Nowadays, the iconic brown and green or red and yellow carts follow tracks across the city. Plan more of your streetcar-based exploration using our streetcar itinerary, which breaks everything down by route.
Along with the streetcar, The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) runs 30 bus lines in the city. With their handyTrip Planner you can find what routes to take to get to your destination. Or download Le Pass for the most efficient and seamless transit experience. The app puts real-time transit tracking, trip planning tools, and mobile payment options right at your fingertips. For more information, check out the RTA’s website at norta.com.
Conference Shuttle Service
The ANCC Magnet and Pathway Conference will provide detailed shuttle service from Official Conference Hotels that are not within walking distance of New Orleans Convention Center.
The shuttle schedule will become available as we get closer to the event.
